Job Description

Job Title: Technical Service Assistant
Salary: Up to £21,000 per annum
Location: Hemel Hempstead (Home-based, with potentially one day a week in the office in future)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

The Company: A progressive Technology Business offering various solutions to a client base that is mixed in size and sector. This role is a Key Position within the team, where you will need to be tech savvy in order to help onboard & support clients with varying requirements.

Skills Required

• Strong customer service/client relationship management skills & expertise
• Technically-minded
• Ability to demonstrate passion for IT e.g., courses completed, hobbies, previous work history
• Self-motivated & confident working to deadlines
• Graduate level or equivalent (ideal but not essential)
• 3 A-levels or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office & related applications
• Contact centre experience (Desirable but not essential)
• Experience using Word, Excel & Outlook
• Some project management experience


Support clients with various technical queries
Using the ticketing system to ensure client cases are resolved according to deadlines
Manage stakeholder expectations
Escalate issues when required
Onboarding of new clients
As the role progresses, you will also get involved in various project work
Liaising with both internal & external teams including programmers, operations, technical & administrative teams
Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients
