Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: St. Albans
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 (out of hours when needed)

My client in St. Albans is looking for a technically minded and client facing IT Support Engineer to join their team. You will have excellent experience within 1st and 2nd line support both remotely and face to face. You will possess excellent spoken and written English and be enthused to support a wide range of clientele with back up, server infrastructure, networking, routers, firewalls and more.

Skills Required

3 years within a 1st line/ 2nd line support role
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Servers
Experience with Microsoft Windows + Apple OS Support
Confident with backup/ disaster recovery and software installs

Responsibilities

Delivering 1st/ 2nd line customer support
Supporting and maintaining desktops, server and network infrastructure for multiple clients
Attending client site to trouble shoot and deliver customer support at the source
Working out of hours when required to meet customer requirements
