Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Baldock – Office based!
Salary: £18,000 to £23,000 pa Plus OTE (Up to 10% of salary)
Contract: Permanent / Full Time (Monday to Friday) 9am to 5.30pm

An Exciting opportunity to secure a Brand New vacancy within our expanding client’s premises in Baldock!

The aim of this position will be to support and grow the business across all categories and brands, by achieving targeted sales growth. This position will suit a self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven sales professional, who enjoys working within a busy office environment.

This role will be approximately 80% existing customers, and 20% cold/luke warm. There will also be the opportunity to attend trade shows throughout the year. There is also opportunity for career progression within this independent business.

Please note, this position will be office based within our client’s COVID Secure premises. To reach the destination, the successful candidate will ideally drive and have access to their own vehicle!

Skills Required

Bright, friendly individual and a great team player
Must be articulate, with excellent communication skills
Previous experience within customer service and/or a similar sales role
Excellent written skills
Proficient in Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Persistent, motivated and target driven!


Manage, grow and support current client base, with a view to increase customer spend
Work closely alongside the Marketing and Product Team, by means to develop and secure new clients
Communicate and educate current customers, referring them to newly launched business website
Communicate & maximise sales through new product launches and promotional campaigns
Research, prospect leads and develop potential new clients, by way of expanding client base
Support Head of Sales / Management, with new business enquiries
First point of contact for all new business enquiries, representing the company to a very high standard
Support both internal and external Sales team with new product campaigns
